  • Messages: content you send through in-platform messaging between volunteers and organizations.
  • Settings and preferences: notification choices and optional contact details you save in your account settings.
  • Support and FAQ interactions: questions you submit through our FAQ assistant on the landing page.
  • Technical data: browser type, device information, IP address, and similar log data collected automatically when you access the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to operate the Platform and connect volunteers with local nonprofit opportunities.

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate sign-in.
  • Match volunteers with organizations based on skills, interests, availability, and opportunity requirements.
  • Display volunteer profiles to matched organizations and opportunity details to matched volunteers.
  • Send service-related notifications, such as match updates and new messages, according to your preferences.
  • Review organization applications before granting dashboard access.
  • Respond to support requests and improve Platform reliability and security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below.

  • With matched parties: when a volunteer and organization are matched, each party may see relevant profile and opportunity information needed to coordinate volunteering.
  • With service providers: we use trusted vendors to host data, authenticate users, store files, and operate Platform features. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
  • With Wiregrass Foundation staff and administrators: authorized personnel may access information to review organization applications, support users, and maintain the Platform.
  • For legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Wiregrass Foundation, or the public.
  • With your consent: we may share information in other situations when you direct us to do so.
